I'm excited to share that @Narashi, + 2 others (as a group), and I have been accepted to attend this years Ethereum hack-a-thon in Denver. It will be our very first hack-a-thon we've ever attended. And to top it off - it revolves around #blockchain, smart contracts, and the nature of decentralization.

Here's an excerpt from ETHDenver site:

Decentralization is underway. In the coming years, emerging blockchain technologies (like Ethereum) will aid in distributing power from the center to the edges of our communities. ETHDenver is welcoming those who want to support and build the decentralized future. The Hackathon is an opportunity to work alongside the developers, thought leaders, advisers, and companies who are making the infrastructure and applications that will power the future

After holding many successful Meetups at The TinkerMill (our local non-profit makerspace) to educate our community on the basics & fundamentals of the disruptive technology we've dubbed the #Blockchain, a group of us heard of the event coming and decided to apply! Needless to say, we're all eager to get our feet wet within the space and hope to create some incredible things.
