The phenomenon of harnessing the ant community

Christoph Kleineidam was amazed at the complexity of his system. "We usually consider a bunch of ants to be a homogeneous group, but if you look more closely you will see a number of fascinating phenomena - this large group has an interesting composition - they are different," he said.
"Heterogeneity can be seen throughout this group, and it is important to work well.
For us this is the next step in gang behavior. How do these groups evolve into gangs, and which advantages do these sub-structures contribute to the whole community? ",

Adds Dr. Christoph Kleineidam further

Dr. Christoph

Keleineidam pointed it out with the help of a blue barrier, which he placed on the path the ant took. The ants soon work together to get rid of the obstacle, so that the speed of harvesting is maintained.

Kleineidam finds something important. Of the thousand ants in the colony, only about six are in charge of removing obstacles. And it's done quickly, do not make a fuss.
