Wednesday Walk is a challenge started by @tattoodjay, The idea is to get out for a short walk, and get some shots of what you can see within a short distance of your home office or wherever you start.
After a break for a couple of weeks to make way for the St Juan Feria, the Wednesday market in Benalmadena is now back in business. The Wednesday market is a second hand market, where people can find uses for what others consider junk. As they say, one man’s junk is another’s treasure. Anything that you can think of is a possible find here - clothes, books, collectibles, cutlery, glasses, shoes, furniture... The list goes on.
The market is always busy, attracting the locals who are looking for a good bargain, and tourists who are looking for curiosities. There are certainly bargains to be found here at the market. You just might find your missing piece of antique you have been collecting.
Here are some pictures of the market. The pictures are not all that great. I was trying to be discreet about it. There were so many people about, and it is not nice to be pointing the camera in people's faces, or at the goods of the stall, when you have no interest in buying anything.
The market opens from 10:00 in the morning to 2:00 in the afternoon. It is in the car park beside the Parque la Paloma. As you can see from the pictures, it is a huge place. You can also take a walk in the park while you are there.
