What's inside the Owl Box?

Yay! There is an Owl Nestbox in a tree here at our place!

But the nestbox has been hijacked South African style hahaha.
An invader has decided that it will be a nice home to raise her children in, seeing as there is food close by because we are now feeding them.
Have a look below!

Oh yes! An Egyptian Goose has made her home in the owl box!

Beautiful to see how she surveys the area!

So this is why the two males had the big fight yesterday!

The male Egyptian Goose was protecting their new home!

Off she goes to get a drink of water!

It was so great to see that soon we will have goose babies, crow babies, robin babies, thrush babies, guinea fowl babies, olive thrush babies and even sunbird babies.
We will soon be swamped by many more new small critters.

For those that have never seen an owl nesting box, here is one above with two babies inside.
