This is my entry for #marketfriday hosted by the lovely and compassionate @dswigle. Lots have been happening between the Sun and the Moon, so much tangled energies floating around that I felt the need to invoke strong energy to quiet down the energetic ripples of uncertainty and struggle. This trip was made possible as my visiting Steemian friends were very interested to see snakes; @daabi2006 was very much at home walking around the Snake Farm while @gamer00 took the time off for a nap in the cool air-conditioned building.
Pictures of snakes at the Snake Farm, inside the Red Cross compound seemed to want to present themselves. Besides the exhibition of real life poisonous snakes on the ground floor, the upper floor was arranged as a permanent exhibition on snakes and their life cycles. After this trip, I became quite sympathetic to snakes and have more understanding about their ways of survival.
We could easily spend a few hours walking around the exhibition on snakes. There were small areas for watching films on Asian poisonous snakes’ life cycle. Luckily I never have any fear of snakes even though I was chased by a cobra at school when I was five years old. The old school was situated near fields and undeveloped land full of trees. But I couldn’t imagine taking my cousins here as they would just scream non-stop and cry like crazy. Some people do have deep fear of snakes! They couldn’t even look at pictures of snakes.
This skeletons belonged to the python that died at the Snake Farm several years ago.
The whole building was very quiet and cool
as there were only a few people walking around. This place is really nice and calm except for the fact that the land in this area used to be where corpses of dead people who got killed by bombing in Bangkok were kept. Thai people are very superstitious and tend to be sensitive to places with roaming ghosts and spirits. Unfortunately, I did not have any visit from other dimension so I have nothing exciting to write about.
The staff here did a good job of preserving the bones and skin of the dead python! I wonder what kind of people could work with snakes everyday!! There’s always a risk of being bitten by these snakes. I heard the staff talking about trying not to be bitten again!
I did a post on real life poisonous snakes several months ago, so this post is about the permanent exhibition just to spread some special energy around me! Calming and quiet the fuzzy energies a little.
Wishing you all a very nice and productive weekend!
Cheers.
