In my earlier post I shared why especially new accounts should be using the Esteem app to interact with the blockchain.
You get points for everything you do and you can use those to promote or boost your posts. I’ve been busy, so I’ve got 400 points already.
Today I will start using them. Not all of them, because Esteem wants the value of the upvote to be in line with the value of the post.
If you have one of those simple actifit posts, then they will tell you the quality of the past is too low and they will not upvote you.
So I’m not going to use all 400 ESTM points I have now, but I’ll use 200. That should boost the hive rewards to about 2 hive, which means that I as author should get about 1 hive power from this post.
As shared before, it is my aim to get 50 hive power as soon as possible, so I’ve set post rewards to 100% hive power. Rather than 50% hive power and 50% HBD.
At this rate I should be able to get 1 hive power from esteem boosts quite regularly. I would say that I can get this almost weekly.
That means I will have to update #MyHiveGoals, since I have not anticipated for that. I think I’ll do that on Sunday, when I will also have another week of rewards data.
