The House Plants are Thriving

Greetings Steemians,

The house plants have been growing quite slowly over the winter, but thriving nonetheless. They love the LED lights, and every now and then I give them a break and put them under soft fluorescents.

This summer they will get some really good outdoor sunlight, as I'm moving to a new location soon, one which offers much better solutions for outdoor gardening.

I might have a huge garden this summer, not sure yet, but it is a goal of mine.

Here are some photos I just captured:

Philodendron

Slow, steady, and strong. I love this house companion!

That little shoot will be a new leaf. It's so cool how they unravel as they grow.

Gaptosedum Bronze

This one is a little picky about its planting medium, but under the right conditions, it thrives.

Those that have been following along with my plant journey will know that these plants have come a long way, and the philodendron was actually a surprise. A woman in this apartment complex passed away and left a bunch of plants behind, the pot containing the philodendron appeared to just be a pot of dirt. I didn't water it or anything, and after about a month I saw a mystery sprout! Pretty cool huh?

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you're all having a wonderful day!
