Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo will not be part of the team that will travel to Ukarain for the friendly match between Ukarain and Nigeria. The match which is scheduled to take place on September 10 will not have CD Leganes defender as in the squad.
The reason is connected with his ongoing work permit application which is still being processed and yet to be realised to him.
The Kaduna-born defender returns to Spain on a permanent deal from Chelsea. So far, Omeruo has two appearances in La Liga for his new club. Nevertheless, Leganes are off to a bad start in the league. The team has lost their first three matches, but the Nigerian defender remains hopeful that they will bounce back soon.
Latest Super Eagles news state that Kenneth will not be available to coach Rohr. In a telephone interview on Brila FM, Omerio confirmed that he will not travel to Ukraine with the rest of his countrymen.
