Happy Tuesday! I hope you all doing well. Before I get back to watch the World Cup games on TV, I manage to spare adequate time to write this. Posting some photos with a few words is all right, but not my habit. My wife is fasting today, She missed the last ten days of Ramadhan because of her period, so it is an obligation to pay for that with another 10 days. She could've done that anytime before the next Ramadhan comes, but She said she'll be happy if she does that as soon as possible.
Though she is fasting, but She kept cooking for me and father, so today She made fish soup for us. We bought two bigeye Jack aka great trevally aka caranx sexfasciatus Las week. It is about time to cook one of my favourite's meal. FISH SOUP!
to reduce the fishy smell, Cici shower the fresh fish with hot water
Simply Fish Soup
Ingredients :
- 10 cloves onions (slice)
- 8 cloves garlic (slice)
- a thumb big fresh ginger (punch)
- a rod of lemongrass (punch)
- 5 kaffir lime leaves
- 5 cayennes
- a tomato (cut)
- 2 leeks rod
- fresh basil leaves
- 2 tbsp sea salt
- a half tbsp sugar
- lime juice from one fruit
How to
stir frying ingredient
- Stir fry the onions, garlic, ginger, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves and cayennes, remove.
- Boil 4 cup of water
- Add the stir fried 1
- After 3 minutes, add the fishes in
fishes are swimming - Cook it for 5 minutes (till cooked)
- Add the tomato, sugar and salt, lime juice, then leeks and basil's, turn off the heat.
- Serve it!
