Your identity can be revealed by DNA and without having done a DNA test

A new technology approach that helped the US police identify the famous Golden State killer could make more than half of US citizens of European descent identify. This provocatively revealed a new study that highlighted the unwanted breach of privacy in consumer-type genetic testing of ancestors. This type of test is done to establish facts about the state of health of the person.

"Every individual in the database is like a marker of genetic information, and this marker far exceeds the individual - he can shed light on the genetic data of hundreds of other individuals. Such as distant relatives who are related to this person through the family tree, "commented Yaniv Ehrlich, the lead officer of the company, Mönnstein, who conducted the study.
