Comienzo este nuevo año feliz de seguir recargándome de buenas energías con la iniciativa creada por @tripode. Cada semana una nueva frase para reflexionar y con ella dejar nuestro grano de arena motivando a los otros hivers con mensajes llenos de energía positiva. Para esta semana la frase elegida fue la siguiente:

Fueron muchas las situaciones que tuvimos que enfrentarnos durante el transcurso del año 2020, experiencias gratificante y otras devastadoras, pero son la sumas de esas experiencias lo que nos hace ser las personas que somos hoy y ahora. La frase de esta semana, me llevó a pensar inmediatamente en que, debemos simplemente avanzar al año nuevo con alguna enseñanza de las buenas y malas experiencias que vivimos.
There were many situations we had to face during the course of 2020, rewarding experiences and other devastating ones, but it is the sum of those experiences that makes us the people we are today and now. This week's phrase, led me to immediately think that, we must simply move forward into the new year with some teaching of the good and bad experiences we lived.
A finales del año pasado, mi hermano pasó por una mala experiencia, ya que fue víctima de una estafa. Encontró una cuenta de venta de celulares en una red social, con el precio de un celular un poco más barato, a diferencia de otras tiendas físicas de nuestra ciudad. Aunque varios miembros de la familia le aconsejaron no hacer la compra por ese medio, decidió comprarla. ¿Cuál fue el resultado? Bueno, se quedó sin el dinero y sin el celular.
At the end of last year, my brother went through a bad experience, as he was the victim of a scam. He found a cell phone sales account on a social network, with the price of a cell phone a little cheaper, unlike other physical stores in our city. Although several family members advised him not to make the purchase through that means, he decided to buy it. What was the result? Well, he was left without the money and without the cell phone.
Meses de esfuerzo en su trabajo y ahorro, simplemente se habían desvanecido. Después de varios días de ira y tristeza, recordé esa frase del psiquiatra y escritor Viktor Frankl, que compartí con mi hermano y que le ayudó a dejar atrás esas emociones de frustración, a aceptar y a seguir adelante.
Months of effort in their work and saving, had simply vanished. After several days of anger and sadness, I remembered that phrase of the psychiatrist and writer Viktor Frankl, which I shared with my brother and which helped him to let go of those emotions of frustration, to accept and move forward.
Comprendió que no había solución para al menos recuperar su dinero y que tampoco ayudaría quedarse atascado en esas emociones. Ahora, ¿qué podía hacer? Bueno, cambiar su forma de pensar, repasando mentalmente todos los errores que había cometido para no repetirlos en futuras ocasiones. Aprender a aceptar buenos consejos, investigar a fondo la credibilidad de las tiendas online, no dejarse llevar por sus impulsos y, en cualquier caso, ser cauteloso.
He understood that there was no solution to at least get his money back and that it wouldn't help to get stuck in those emotions either. Now, what could he do? Well, change his way of thinking, reviewing in his mind all the mistakes he had made so as not to repeat them on future occasions. Learn to accept good advice, investigate thoroughly the credibility of online stores, not get carried away by their impulses and, in any case, be cautious.
Les comento lo que ocurrió con mi hermano como ejemplo de muchas anécdotas algo incómodas que estoy seguro también ustedes atravesaron durante el año viejo, pero que de ellas debemos quedarnos con las enseñanzas, con lo bueno que nos podría aportar en nuestro crecimiento personal, para hacer crecer nuestra fuerza interna y afrontar los problemas de la mejor manera o también a no cometer los mismos errores del pasado en este nuevo año.
I comment what happened with my brother as an example of many uncomfortable anecdotes that I am sure you also went through during the old year, but from them we must keep the teachings, with the good that it can bring us in our personal growth, to grow our inner strength and face the problems in the best way or also to not make the same mistakes of the past in this new year.
No sabemos que nos depara el futuro, sólo queda esperarlo con el mayor optimismo y positividad. Ahora, toca escribir un nuevo capítulo a nuestra vida, aprendamos a disfrutar de las cosas simples de cada día, a sonreír, a pensar en positivo, pues que esa es la energía que necesitamos para atraer a nosotros momentos maravillosos.

We do not know what the future holds, we just have to wait for it with the greatest optimism and positivism. Now is the time to write a new chapter in our lives, let's learn to enjoy the simple things of each day, to smile, to think positively, because that is the energy we need to attract wonderful moments to us.
