...more sounds from the Underground - miss Hauff

A month or more ago, I posted about Helena Hauff, this electronic producer based in Hamburg (Germany). She was on the lineup of the best techno and electronic festival of my little country "Dekmantel", held less than 10 days ago. Fantastic music she creates, and inspiring sets with true underground sounds she plays.

Although attending Dekmantel, unfortunately I was not able to hear her set :(

Saturday was my day, and certainly heard some super sets, mostly electro stuff like The Advent playing for the first time a 90s electro set, after 25 years not doing so! Stingray, closing of this new electro stage for the night; Super set as well!

Sunday, was Helena's day. In fact, she was programmed to close the main stage, after playing for Dekmantel at the Boiler Room stage last year. And reading all the message at Facebook, and many of the websites around, I certainly missed out on something.

The dutch renowned website 3voor12 writes (source: translated by yours truly):

Helena Hauff is a typical example of how Dekmantel works on his headliners. Year after year the German got the chance, on just about every stage that the organisation had to offer. She always made it happen, and she did so now. In fornt of the large LED screen with music that originates from humid underground cellars, and especially the beginning is really mercilessly rough. But then she started to vary more. Have a good listen to one of the best tracks from her set - Clatterbox 'Datastream' - a track in which two types of energy mixes: first only the hectic of the electro bleeps and the overdriven drums, but then also a slow synth. Your head barely knows which way to put your legs. Hauff spreads her arms like a true Armin (red: van Buren) and peeks down with her black-rimmed eyes over the bright white decor. She was offered the closing set on a silver platter and she did not let her chance slip away.

Damn shame this set is not available on the internet. No share of this one, yet (hoping it'll come available sometime in the future). But, Helena recorded more great sets. One of which I share below. Sounds from the underground, maybe similar to what she played at Dekmantel; Maybe not; Who knows.
