What is Election?-- Election, the formal process of selecting a person for public office or of accepting or rejecting a political proposition by voting.
This coming May 14, 2018 an annual election for Barangay and Sangguiang Kabataan will about to come. Those who want to run for a position applied their candidacy in the Commission for Election(ComElec) in their individual town. And last May 4, 2018 the campaign had started. Politicians and their supporters have different approach on how to gain votes in their community.
And as an individual being, We have the right and the power to choose a leader that we think has the capability to manage and run his/her people. Choose a leader that will treat us not just as his/her people but the one who also treat us as a family. Vote not because of his flowery words during the election, Vote not because He/She has a lot to offer after the election (if ever he/she wins), Vote not because He/She is wealthy enough, but VOTE because He/She is capable and deserving to run and manage your town.
If you are in the midst of choosing between a two politicians, try to think and remember him/her as a person, what kind of person he/she before running as a politician. And in that way, it will help you choose who deserves your vote. And this coming May 14, 2018 you have the freedom to vote, a vote for your rights. And when voting, always remember " Be Bright, Vote for What is Right! and Vote Wisely!"
