Elastos why i wont touch it with a ten foot pole

First of all let me super quickly explain Elastos. Elastos is blockchain that allows you to own your digital content eg songs from itunes, games from Playstation network so you can resell them. They are using multiple side chains to deal with scaling. Im sure there is more to it then this but these are the main features.

What worries me
For a while now i have noticed a large amount of Youtubers constantly talk about how great Elastos is. I find this very odd that so many Youtubers all happen to love this random altcoin, i suspect they are getting paid to promote it i dont any proof of this other then gut feeling.

Why Elastos isn't that great
First. With all these Youtubes frothing on it so much you would think it is really amazing ,but i just don't see how Elastos will pull off what they are trying to achieve and the fact its to late in the game anyway. 99 percent of people will only want to own music, movies and games digitally. There is no way Apple, Google, Microsoft and Playstation will ever sign up to this why would they. These are the only platforms 99 percent of people actually own any digital content worth something on. Unless Elastos can find an illegal way around this no large company will ever use Elastos.

Second. The industry is moving away from owning content and to subscriptions now , buying music is getting replaced with Spotify , buying movies is replaced with Netflix even Xbox have a subscription based gaming platform like the Netflix of games. Owning content out right is to expensive and not worth it for most people.

Please correct me if im wrong but i really dont see the use case with Elastos other then owning pictures of digital cats.
