What is artificial intelligence?
Artificial intelligence is when there is technology doing the work that humans would normally do. What a lot of people don’t know is artificial intelligence has been around for almost over 50 years. It has recently developed more technology and became more popular. Artificial intelligence is a machine that mimics human actions. For example, AI can have human characteristics like learning and planning. AI also must be problem solving so there doesn’t have to be a human go in and fix the mistake. It is a computer that can assess the situation and fix it. It is becoming more popular in the software industry. There is a new demand in virtual assistants because ever since COVID people started working from home but now things are starting to get back to normal and people are still wanting to work from home. People make mistakes and so does technology, but you don’t have to pay a robot you might have to pay for the service or pay a subscription.

Will it take over?
I think that AI has already taken over a lot of jobs just because human error is common but there also has been a lot of technological errors. I don’t think we can ever live in a society where we will only depend on AI. There won’t be a reason for humans to have a job or make income. I also think that AI costs a lot of money and if people aren’t getting paid how will there be any way to start it. We are built on a society where you need to work for everything, and we can’t accept AI to do it for us. I think in some industries it works but it doesn’t work everywhere. To conclude, I don’t think we will ever have all jobs taken by AI. In some industries where it is more beneficial to have AI then that is a different story.
