Interior Design part 1: Making a Beautifully Designed Walls from Dirts

I will be showing
you how I transformed this three bed room flat into some amazing piece of work. The above pictures shows how bad and what shape I met the building. This time I called upon to be a wall specialist and give it a better look. Let me give you more pictures of the house.

Materials To Be Used

The following are materials you may use for a white wall transforming experience.

POP screeding paint 12 gallons
White Cement - 5 bags
Top bond - 10 litres
You may include water seal sachets if it's a water infested area.

How to Mix
Mixing of screeding materials depends on the texture you need. Therefore you are to use water in some cases dependant on your texture. Note that some people use the screed paint directly on the wall. While others usually increase using water and other materials.

  1. You could divide the pop into 10 litres and multiply it to become 30litres by adding bond and water.
  2. Mix properly by steering to either clockwise or anticlockwise motion.
  3. Reduce the proportion you need to use and put the right proportion of white cement needed and continue to steer.
  4. Then begin to apply with the screed tools to the wall.

After application you will get a white and smooth wall like mine below.

I shall update you as soon as I finish with the job, and the final presentation of this house. For now you may want to try out this skill, knowing how to screed a house is another different skill all together.

Thank you for reading this article.
