I've had some "Unfollows" recently. It doesn't bother me. It truly doesn't. I've been on literally hundreds of forums, mailing lists and chat rooms for nearly 25 years; you can't spend that long on those sorts of platforms without getting unfollows, although I still find myself asking "Why?". It does make me wonder, especially if they've never once commented on something I produced.

If you're going to follow someone on Hive, then do it for the right reasons.

They're your friend.

You became friends.

You like what they post.

You have the same interests.

You support what they do.

Don't do it for the wrong reasons:

If I vote for you, you'll vote for me!

You look like you're earning a lot? You're worth following.

Wow! You have a lot of followers? I don't wannabe left out!

Maybe your success will rub off on me?

My mate Eric gets some big votes from you, vote for me!.

Still, like I said. I'm not bothered. Especially as this morning, I found out I've had a small win on the Lottery. 😊
