Hello friends,
One of the dishes which I will cook for the family once a week, or twice a week is this - stir fry mixed vegetables. We call it rainbow vegetables because usually either there are 7 ingredients or 7 colours.
Stir Fry Rainbow Vegetables
In this video, the ingredients I used are:-
- Garlic (is a vegetable too, right? :P)
- Red Capsicum
- Yellow Capsicum
- Broccoli
- Carrot
- Snow Peas
- Baby Corns
The easy steps involved:-
- Drizzle some oil into hot pan. When oil is hot, stir fry garlic until fragrant.
- Add in carrots and capsicum, followed by snowpeas and baby corns and lastly add in broccoli.
- Add in half bowl or one bowl of water to further simmer the mixed vegetables till soften.
- Add seasoning, I use oyster sauce. Alternatively you can use vegetables broth. Or you just want to add in salt and pepper, is fine too.
- Mixed all together again. And voila done!
- Serve with warm rice. Or just eat like that. Chinese salad... Lol
