Cook With Me || Asian Chinese Stir Fry Mixed Vegetables | 🌈Colourful & Flavourful


Hello friends,

One of the dishes which I will cook for the family once a week, or twice a week is this - stir fry mixed vegetables. We call it rainbow vegetables because usually either there are 7 ingredients or 7 colours.

Stir Fry Rainbow Vegetables

In this video, the ingredients I used are:-

  1. Garlic (is a vegetable too, right? :P)
  2. Red Capsicum
  3. Yellow Capsicum
  4. Broccoli
  5. Carrot
  6. Snow Peas
  7. Baby Corns

The easy steps involved:-

  1. Drizzle some oil into hot pan. When oil is hot, stir fry garlic until fragrant.
  2. Add in carrots and capsicum, followed by snowpeas and baby corns and lastly add in broccoli.
  3. Add in half bowl or one bowl of water to further simmer the mixed vegetables till soften.
  4. Add seasoning, I use oyster sauce. Alternatively you can use vegetables broth. Or you just want to add in salt and pepper, is fine too.
  5. Mixed all together again. And voila done!
  6. Serve with warm rice. Or just eat like that. Chinese salad... Lol
