looking for morels is one of my favorite things to do in the spring. Morels are a wild spring mushroom found in forest habitats. Their appearance is like that of a brain on a stem, I know that s a weird way to describe them BUT that s how I've grown to remember them. They are absolutely delicious and highly sought after. I find them especially good with stinging nettle which I have a lot of. ( NOTE.. I never knew stinging nettle was eatable until mentioned by @mountainjewel )
