'Dakkada' is a song that portrays the uniqueness of a dynamic people and encourages them to rise to the fate of their greatness. It calls out to the indigenes of Akwa Ibom State of The Federal Republic of Nigeria to be proud at all times to represent where they hail from and to also never cease to showcase their culture irrespective of the environ they find theirselves.
Why i came up with this song is that i discovered so many youths tend to shy away from their mother-tongue and even do not connect to their origin or roots.
I present to music lovers this brand new piece of mine. It is an exclusively fresh hit which i have just dropped. As an upcoming artist and a lover of good music, i thought it wise to make sure fellow patrons of good music have a chance to listen, share, comment on my latest song so i decided to share it on the steem blockchain. It's genre is Afro dancehall/high-life. I feel this will help me a long way to connect with people all around the world, most especially Akwa Ibomites. All thanks to blockchain technology. It feels good being a part of this platform as it has opened doors for musicians who have not yet been signed to a record label. As it will help keep food on their table and aswell provide money for their next recording. It is a nice experience for artist like myself to relate to the world without having to pay a dime. I have decided to use this medium to urge youths to always represent where they come from.
