One of the first psydub and downtempo artists I came across on my journey, Globular fuses marvellous beats and atmospheric soundscapes with world music influences, chants and lively authentic percussion patterns.
Magnitudes of Order is globular's highly awaited successor of his hugely influential record "A Self-Fulfilling Prophecy" that has impacted tzhe scene greatly, and this slabum is no different: He manages to captivate our attention with vibrant melodies, sound design and innovative composition of human instruments, synths and atmospheric sounds in a fresh quality of dub, reggae and chillout crossover.
In the spirit of finding new pathways for artists to walk in this emerging media age, Globular has released several of his records on the freely available eleedctronic music web label Ektoplazm.com under Creative-Commons license CC BY-NC-SA 3.0 where you can download the whole album for free in high quality.
Considering the many human-infused influences in the music this rcord is fabulous for going on travels, for psychedelic excursions and for spreading an atmosphere of warmth and intrigue wherever it plays among human beings normally not prone to music that plays so gently with the awareness of its listeners.
