Just had to try out updated @steepshot app to show you all something I noticed on Dlive login page....( But Sadly Steepshot posting did not work even after the update so i I had to copy and paste everything over into steemit.com and post from here :-/ sorry )
But anyways I wanted to post these screenshots from yestrday of when I was checking out Dlive.io and I noticed something different on their new Signup process that allows a guest to just login using a facebook or google account for those without a steem account (which may take time to get for free) And so allowing guests to guest login and leave a comment on the dlive.io front end page is a huge sign of competency and understanding of how small features like that are what makes a social network an actual network that people can use. Without that feature, lets say for example a musician has a video and a record label owner wants to leave a comment to start a deal but they cant signing without a steem account and if it was steemit.com theyd get frustrated unable to comment without a steem account and just forget it, but now they'll be able to leave messages to steemians on dlive even without a steem account. Being able to use a facebook or google account just to gain temporary guest access to leave comments on dlive.io videos ia going to allow a lot more interaction on dlive, and if steemit.com had this sort of special guest login using a google or facebook account then we would see a LOT more comments on steemit, i know this because when i leave my email or text on my steem posts i routinely get contacted by people who try to get steem accounts and who encounter errors during official steemit signup process or who just wait over a month and get no response. so i started using steeminvite.com by @pharesim and I wont do that again because too many people wasted my 1 month of 14.5 SP needed for account creation, and rarely does someone need an account that bad that they cant just wait or pay for it them-self, because most who i created accounts instantly fot just never even posted or maybe posted once and that shows how lazy people are, they think they cant wait and when they get an account they dont even use it... but thats why we cant keep paying for new accounts and hard fork 20 will fix this and allow effortless account creation By Q3 July-Sept
As you can see, they even let you choose a Google account, or a Steemconnect login... I yearn for the day when I can use Steemconnect to just login to a Gmail competitor, SteemMail, where all of our emails are on a blockchain encrypted with memo keys LOL :D
Anyway sorry I couldn't just make this post from Steepshot seems like the update didn't quite fix the bug that's not letting me and others post, oh well I'm sure they'll get it fixed by tomorrow maybe :D I really want to see a DLIVE app that let's a user Signup to Steem and which then automatically redirects them to Lastpass.com (after providing multiple options with a recommended default lastpass option to save the steem key there and another option to select "Advanced" which just says to write the key down By Hand on Paper and back it up in multiple places, but I feel like user friendly cloud storage by lastpass.com is the BEST option for new users until Steem makes their own coinbase style KeyBank system to offer storage of new users steem owner keys just as a backup for a user because SO MANY new users end up losing them expecting steemit.com to be able to recover their password!
