Today is the last day of the contest and the start of February within a few hours the month of love and caring will be here. As such what other flower to make than a not fully blossomed flower, with each day that passes the flower slowly uncurls and reveals its pallet.
As all things, it starts with a sketch. Nothing really much to say here except that the final output and sketch look nothing alike. HAhahhahha
I need to make a clarification, i forgot about the contest. Yohohoho!
My bad, animation JIJI took 99% of my brain power and complete focus. But anyways i managed to finish the animation within 5-days only. New record for me!
Anyway going back to the sketch, initially i noticed that tomorrow is February so i decided to make a Valentines card as not only it matches with the theme but i can give this to someone during Valentines! Killing 2 birds with one stone.
As i draw the outline and decided to eat dinner that night, afterwards i took a shit. And in that moment lightning struck! A light bulb was lit in my head.
*Mind Explodes.
As such instead of giving up on this endeavor i immediately took my drawing tablet and got to work. I now have the greatest weapon to anyone working on a creative field. MOTIVATION!

An hour passes since i began, i can see it now! A colored yet closed rose. *Not going to bother with the spikes because i don't like thorns. They hurt me, why? I have no idea, but the green is nice. Perhap... Where was i?

Ohh right coloring, hahah my thought wandered off a bit. As i reached this point, taking a long look it feels like something is missing. That's when i decided to add extra stuff. Perhaps adding them might add more Pizzaz! To my drawing.
After adding a bit of white to the flower and a few dozen hearts, i think this is a noice looking valentine card huhuhu.
For the colors of the hearts i just took the flower petals and plastered them all over the place.
