Doch´s gab dort mannigfach turista!
Brilliant: Markusdom(=Basilico San Marco) vom Markusturm (98,6m hoch!
In Trattorias isst man ganz toll!
Was für Oliv-Fans:
Tiramisu: Mmmh!
Folgend noch ´n paar random pics:
Dear Steemians,
in the german text above I tried to avoid any "e". Why the hell? It is quite hard and I didn´t repeat this in the english version :)
Recently I was in Venice, below some pics from there. Here a view from the famous Rialto-brigde to the Canale grande
Unbelievably many tourists were there.
Some canals were so narrow - sometimes the Gondolieri had to use their feet to avoid the boat contacting the wall.
Panorama view from the Punto della Dogana (on the left the Marcus Tower)
The famous Basilico San Marco from the 98,6m high Marcus Tower where we went up (after app. 1h qeueing up).
The next day we took a trip to Murano, an island nearby famous for its glass art.
Another island, Burano, was also not far away and is famous for its coloured houses:
Inside a Trattoria, a typical sort of restaurant.
Generally the food quality is awesome , like everywhere in Italy, here a selection of Olives in an average super market
As you may know I can´t resist on desserts like a Tiramisu :)
Detail of the Doge's Palace, in the background the "Bridge of Sighs".
View to the South part of Venice (Guidecca, right in front the Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute)
Some masks.
I hope you will have an opportunity to see this amazing city (if you haven´t yet).
