Hola a todas las damas de la colmena! Aunque ya han pasado varios días desde que se inició esta propuesta, fue justo hoy cuando me decidí hablar al respecto. Han pasado cosas últimamente en mi vida, que me han hecho transitar por una turbulencia y me han puesto a pensar en la pregunta que he de responder en esta publicación, sobre todo por las respuestas que he obtenido de mis amigas cuando lo he mencionado.

Mi primera impresión es que desde que emigré yo perdí parte de ese soporte. Si bien he logrado manos amigables aquí, siento que han sido como un último recurso, pero no porque comprueben si necesito ayuda en un momento particular.

Creo que va más por cuestiones culturales el hecho de compartir cargas, ya que en Argentina son pocas quienes veo solidarias (las que me he topado en el camino) Así que la mayoría de las veces siento que voy caminando sola a través al fuego.

Y las amigas de antes? Al emigrar, el hilo que nos une se ha estirado tanto que se mantiene solo porque yo lo deseo, ya que siempre soy la que inicia la conversación o las busca para saber de ellas.

My first impression is that since I emigrated I have lost some of that support in emergencies. While I have had friendly hands in my new country, I feel that they have been a last resort, but not because someone is really checking in if I need help at a particular time.
I think it's more of a cultural thing to share burdens, since in Argentina I see very few people who are supportive (or at least the ones I've run into along the way), so most of the time I feel like I'm walking alone through the fire. And the friends from before? As I've emigrated, that thread that binds us together has stretched so far that it stays only because I wish it would, since I'm always the one initiating the conversation or seeking them out to hear from them.

I may not check if they need help, since I don't do a control test in this regard, but the times they have asked me for support, even a little, I have never said no (even financially). And despite the fact that I am about to celebrate 5 years in these lands, I have not managed to establish a friendship as such, but I have been able to establish ties of support with the women of the place where I work, who being mothers and emigrants like me, understand my situation and offer me assistance in times of need. And in the midst of the turbulence I have gone through in recent days, the response has almost always been the same: "I told you so" to an event that I knew beforehand would go wrong, but in which I was involved due to the lack of closeness on the part of others, proving that currently, I am carrying my burden on my own.

Puede que no compruebe si necesitan ayuda, pues no hago un test de control al respecto, pero las veces que me han pedido apoyo, así sea poco, nunca les he dicho que no (inclusive a nivel económico)

Y a pesar de ya estar próxima a cumplir 5 años en estas tierras, no he logrado establecer una amistad como tal, pero si lazos de apoyo con las mujeres del lugar a donde trabajo, quienes siendo madres y emigrantes igual que yo, entienden mi situación y me brindan asistencia en los momentos de premura.
