Am liebsten spachtel ich ja das Essen meiner Frau in mich hinein. Aber um etwas ordentliches spachteln zu können, muss MANN auch mal mit Gips spachteln. Immerhin zählt Gipskarton und Spachtelmasse zu den modernsten Baustoffen mit denen wir heutzutage arbeiten können.
Allerdings ist mein Lieblingsbaustoff Lehm. Dazu werde ich wohl in den nächsten Monaten einen Post machen.

Diesmal hatten wir den Auftrag eine in die Jahre gekommene Küche auf den neuesten Stand zu bringen.
Dafür hat mein Kollege als gelernter Klempner zuerst die alten Rohre abmontiert und umgelegt. Wie du im Foto erkennen kannst, wurde die Kaltwasserleitung mittig an die Wand montiert.
Hier kannst du sehen, dass er mit Aluverbundrohr die Wasserleitung nun unter die Decke verlegt hat. Mit Gipskarton haben wir dann die Rohre und neuen Stromkabel verschwinden lassen...
Dann habe ich mit faserverstärkter Spachtelmasse die Fugen verspachtelt.
Diesmal hat sich mein Kunde gegen Tapete entschieden. Somit habe ich ihm Kalkzementputz empfohlen. Dieser ist zwar etwas teurer ,bleibt aber atmungsaktiv. Streichen und fertig...

My favourite thing to spatula is my wife's food. But to be able to putty something properly, MAN has to putty with plaster. After all, plasterboard and putty are among the most modern building materials we can work with nowadays.
However, my favourite building material is clay. I'll probably do a post on that in the next few months.

This time we had the job of updating a kitchen that was getting on in years.
To do this, my colleague, a trained plumber, first dismantled and relocated the old pipes. As you can see in the photo, the cold water pipe was mounted centrally on the wall.
Here you can see that he has now installed the water pipe under the ceiling with aluminium composite pipe. We then used plasterboard to make the pipes and new power cables disappear....
Then I used fibre-reinforced filler to fill the joints.
This time my client decided against wallpaper. So I recommended lime cement plaster. It is a bit more expensive, but it remains breathable. Paint it and that's it...
