Logo Design Entry for Newbie Resteem Day

First off. To know what the contest is all about, click here for more information. https://steemit.com/contest/@mudcat36/attention-talented-steemit-artist-we-need-a-logo-the-steemit-newbie-resteem-initiative-logo-contest-sbd-prize

But for tldr; reasons. basically, this initiative is started by @mudcat36 and @davemccoy focused on helping newbies on Steemit by resteeming users with a rank 40 or less.

The Process

I first, conditioned myself to come up with a logo that is simple and delivers the message directly.

I combined the letter "N" and the resteem symbol to form another logo. Also, I curved the edges of the new logo to make it appear more friendly. sharp edges in logos signifies "authority, strong and serious". curves on the other hand signifies, "friendly, approachable, and lightheartedness." in our case, newbie-friendly, approachable and helpfulness.

Next, I created an idea bubble for the base of the logo. It symbolizes the ideas of the community that is worth being heard and shared. I extended the left foot of the letter 'N" way down because it means reaching out to those ideas, extending our hands to those content makers that is new but has a quality that wants to be heard.

As for the colors, I made 3 variations, I used the 3 colors which is the color of the steemit (#06d5a9), the steem itself (#385495), and the combination of the 2.

FEW LAST WORDS

Thank you very much if you finished reading this content I made. One of the reason I made this entry for these brilliant people ( @mudcat36 @davemccoy) is because I know how it feels to be a newbie in this platform. because I am a newbie too. I know how it feels to put a lot of time and effort to your post and see that after you publish your post, you only see 5, 6, or 2 views only. It sucks. But I am glad to see these people giving back to those people who also have stories to share but does not have exposure to reach enough people. I doesn't matter if I won or not. what matters is that I shared my ideas. and someone listens.

Thank you!
