SPinvest is a tokenized investment fund/club for all users of social blockchains. Everyone is welcome! The concept of SPinvest is to get rich slowly by using time tested methods of earning, saving and compounding long term. This lets SPinvest offer an ROI of 20% per year on SPI tokens. We all know DeFi is the rage right now. Even on Hive, we just got "farming" through farmfarmer.farm. This is an interesting project that SPInvest got involved in.
That said, one of the most exciting parts of the cryptocurrency world is that it gives anyone the ability to create his or her own token. It is something that can be devised and used for any purpose.
When it comes to the financial world, this was traditionally in the hands of Wall Street institutions. They were the ones that were able to create financial products that were sold to interested investors who were seeking a return.
Cryptocurrency provided that opportunity to anyone. And SPInvest is a project that took advantage of that.
Obviously, the entire club is based upon the idea of being an investing fund. The club member decide where to spent the returns generated through the reward pool. Over time, the value of SPInvest has increased greatly.
This is not where we stopped. The token creation took on a couple different paths. To start, there was a fun game where tokens were sold using a prediction market model. It was based upon the election and if Trump would win or lose.
The second path taken, and one that is more long term, deals with an income token. The EDS token is now available for purchase. It is a token that is designed to provide a minimum of a 12% annual return. Over time, one can expect the rate of return to creep upward, something that is not common in the traditional world.
These products might not be on the level of something that Goldman Sachs or JP Morgan bring out. However, in our corner of the world, they are valuable tools that can provide a nice return for people.
Of course, there is nothing that says it is going to stop here. SPInvest, through the ability to create its own tokens, can essentially become its own DeFi center. The ability to put things out there that are traded on the open market, out of the hands of SPInvest, is very valuable. It allows for innovation to occur at a grassroots level.
Many have found these projects to be profitable. The focus of SPInvest is not on short-term mooning. Instead, it is concentrating on long-term gains. Rather than worrying about where things will be in 5 months, the idea is to see where they end up in 5 years.
At the pace things are moving, the club members will be very happy at that time.
