It is about two policemen who were sent to chase a crazy murderer who killed her 3 drowned children and escaped from a mental sanatorium on an island. But the reality is another in character is a psychiatric patient who was the victim of a war that in his memory is to blame for the murder of 2 soldiers. Daniels is invented a whole story to accept reality and be cured and that story worked because it managed to remember everything but the next day he returned to his fantasy of being a policeman and had to lobotomize him. He tells his partner that it is better to die as a good man than to live as a monster.
