Daily Food Photography: Palitaw (a Pinoy Sweet Treat)

Mabuhay, Steemians!

I'd just want to share one of my favorite Filipino sweets, the PALITAW.

Palitaw is mainly made up of glutinous rice flour mixed with a little water, shaped into small balls and cooked in boiling water until it floats - thus, the name PALITAW (to float). When the glutinous ball floats, it means it's cooked and ready to be flattened. Once flattened, you can roll it to shredded coconut, sugar and sesame seeds. It's just that easy! ;)

How about you, what's your favorite Filipino delicacy?
