This is also my favorite recipe and I make Buhti almost every day. ### **Now let's see what we really need?**

Sugar

1 medium egg

Salt

Baking soda

300g milk

500g flour

Oil

Honey

Caster sugar

**Extra ingredients(only on your own discretion)**

It would be nice to put some chopped salami/ or other type of meat on the table, also cheese and cheese. We make homemade blueberry jam every year and I always put some on the table. The combination of blueberries and Buhti is incredibly delicious.

We start by beating the egg nicely in a small bowl using a fork. We add a tablespoon of salt to it and whisk the mixture again.

We add the yoghurt to the mixture thus obtained, having previously put Baking soda in it. Then stir the mixture again. Now is the moment when we add the sugar and flour. From here on you have to be very careful Once we have put all the necessary ingredients you start mixing them. The dough should become soft. But here comes the peculiarity - neither too soft nor too hard. This way the Buhti will not be oily.

**I cover the surface with flour beforehand so that when I knead the dough it doesn't stick.**

This is how your dough should look like. Then I start rolling the dough with a rolling pin until it takes the shape I want. Now I am going to tell you my secret or rather a good trick to make even better Buhti.

Before I start rolling the dough I divide it into two equal parts. Each of these parts is then passed under the force of the rolling pin until a big circle is formed. It should have a completely flat surface.

Now take a ***cup and point it upside down***. In this way the prescribed shape for the Buhti is most easily achieved. Each of you can improvise and use a different shape for your Buhti.

In this way, we spread the dough to make as many circles as possible. Mix the rest of the dough and you can also make a shape out of it. Set aside the prepared moulds and start preparing the vessel in which the Buhti will be fried.

On a preheated stove, we place a pot in which we have poured two fingers of oil. Wait for the oil to warm up as well and start gradually placing the prepared moulds.

**After about 30 seconds at most, they start to expand under the action of the baking soda I put in earlier.**

It gives them a very nice taste.
