I was looking through coinmarketcap.com yesterday and I across an ad that for a new token sale that promises to rise to $200/token in 2018 from the current level of $0.02/token in 2017. www.asncoin.com
It seemed too good to be true and because I have never seen or heard of any genuine crypto asset or currency that promises such returns or even any returns, I decided to do some investigation to see what their game plan was.
The site says it currently the token currently trades on Bitfonex (I have never heard of this exchange site before) and I think it's a clone of Bitfinex. The site also says it would be listed soon on Poloniex, Livecoin and Bittrex. I didn't find any news to support this claim and their asset ANS happens to be the only token trading on Bitfonex.
I did a quick domain search on whois.com to check further. I discovered it's a Panamanian address and if you are familiar with HYIP, you'd know no better not to try to do anything that is linked to Panama as your funds are not refundable and the scammers can never be traced. Panama is a safehaven for offshore assets.
I also did a google image search on the photos on the site as the site claims that they are the photos of the team behind the token. All photos were free stoked photos. I mean all of them
Always investigate before you invest. Take the pain to do your own research. Don't do what the so called experts say about cyrpto. No one knows jack about anything, there is no authority here and we are in here for a game luck.
Research and research always before parting away with your money.
