The battle between law enforcement (or government encroachment) and digital privacy is starting in earnest. Governments better not push it too hard because if enough people dare to go underground (System-D economy, use of cloacked untraceable currency (Monero, Dark Coin, Byteball black bytes, etc), their grip would be lost. And there is or should be no reason for people to go underground.

As always, a balance of forces must be maintained.
