In response to @cryptocracy's excellent post (https://www.torum.com/post/616ac17065995d215d6cc853), I submit the following:

Facebook planned on blatantly using the loopholes of current computer code pinching laws and the dearth of any cryptocurrency regulations that had any possibility of being enforced to do the following:

Gather the best and the brightest of the blockchain dev world, put them into a "Think Tank" (ooooh, to this day, even the mention of that word "Think Tank" still gives me shivers) and systematically cannibalize from the top open source blockchains (which is the majority), steal from the private ones (like Hedera HashGraph and most super-speed, private distributed ledgers), then stitch together an unbeatable Frankenstein cryptocurrency!

Fortunately, they were side-lined and put the kibosh on the project before it had its first breath.

Or did they?
