2. Ethereum (ETH)

Ethereum (ETH) has a market capitalization of USD 41.4 billion, second only to Bitcoin among all digital currencies.

Zcash, the currency that was launched in late 2016, looks promising. Zcash claims to offer security and privacy where all transactions are recorded and published in blockchain (transaction logging technology), but other details such as sender, recipient, and number are kept confidential.

Dash, originally known as Darkcoin, offers more anonymity because it works on a mastercode network that makes transactions almost untraceable. Launched in January 2014, Dash experienced an increasing number of users in a short span of time.
In March 2015, 'Darkcoin' was renamed Dash, which stands for Digital Cash.

5. Dogecoin

Dogecoin emerges as one of the most popular cryptocurrencies in the world. History of the emergence of Dogecoin name stems from Icon and Doge name taken from a meme joke found on the internet about a dog Shiba Inu. Its popularity inspires the launch of Dogecoin in 2013 and is now coin is already being traded on various exchange in the world. The value of Dogecoin is much smaller than Bitcoin, but the process of transfer between wallets runs faster when compared with Bitcoin.

6. Monero (XMR)

Monero was launched in April 2014 and immediately attracted great interest among the cryptocurrency lovers community. The development of Monero, based on donations and community agreements.
