Day one of my journey with the Ben Eater 6502 Kit

Okay folks, so I've finally gotten around to having enough time to work on my NOS #Cybiko Classic; unfortunately, this one suffered the exact same issue as the last one (both of them were sealed), in that

Well, that was fun... I had to open up my sealed Cybiko because I needed to check everything worked, but it turned out that the batteries leaked and they leaked all over the contacts! Luckily, with some

As part of my stream improvement measures, I'm currently looking into purchasing a dedicated SFF PC for use with all my game consoles so I can use my Elgato for streaming them, as currently, only the PS4

Wow... I'm just after finding out that the Psion Organiser II I bought runs on a 9V battery (after taking off the case - needs a little more pulling force), and it seems to work great! This was an excellent

Okay, so early morning discovery #257: Psion 5 Series computers appear to be able to handle 1GB Compact Flash cards... in about a month or two, I'll be able to discover if a CF to SD adaptor can be handled

Also means that I can get more done in time for my return to streaming! This also makes me wonder it's a good idea to allocate some time to fix those socket pins on my new motherboard, as it's been 3-4

I have one of the item I linked below, but it's in storage right now... as much as I'd like to get it (I have around 2 hours to get it), I'm very "meh" about doing so right now... I'm gonna wait

Well, yet again there will be a delay with installing the new motherboard, etc. as I've pretty much decided that I need to think about how best to approach things, mainly because I'll probably have to

I'll show pics of everything tomorrow, as I've got a lot to sort out over the next few hours!

I've been flitting back and forth trying to determine when I should test my new CPU, but as this week goes on, it doesn't seem like a convenient time, and to be honest, I'm now looking at getting a new

I'm going to delay my CPU test by another week, so I have time to think about my plans, and also have a better chance of the new board arriving by the time I'm able to test the components, as I'm realising
