Lately on social media I hear quite a bit of complaining about the haircut scene. It's blah blah can't get a haircut this or blah blah no stylists are open that!
Truth be told, I haven't paid for a haircut in years. And after self cutting it for such a long period of time, I've become quite good at it.
The trick, really, is in the clippers. A recent upgrade to this pair has helped with the final outcome. No more stray hairs sticking up that were missed along the path of the buzzers.
I use a #3 on my head and go all the way down to a #1 for my goatee! Take a look at how I did below.
I think it turned out looking sharp, though it's strange to see myself in photos. I got older it seems....
The Wifey Jumped In On The Action Too
Alas! I forgot to snap a before pic of myself but I did get the greys in the lady's hair before the dying process. It seems we're both getting older...
My dear lady will need to talk her stylist into something if businesses don't open soon. Though she can't get a haircut, she asked nicely if I'd help her dye it. I don't know what that stuff is in the pic above. Not sure I want to.
She has just as many greys as I do. Bless her heart for being such a good sport.
All the dye has been spread (mostly even but not perfect) and now it sits for 30 minutes. After that she washes it out completely, brushes it out, and allows it to air dry.
She might not ever ask me to help again due to all the hair pulling. Not the right circumstance for it, I suppose.
And there are a couple after pics with no more greys. All the pain turned into gain and she's ready for tomorrow's Zoom meetings!
Are you taking steps to handle your hair or are you turning into a hippie? Lol. Let me know in the comments.
Don't be afraid to show off!
Happy Hiveing
