Introducing Unique.One
About two months ago, I have been hearing about the NFT hype that has been going around the cryptosphere and how artist of all levels can finally gain some exposure and possibly income for selling their art on NFT. However, not all of these sites are easily accessible to creators as some would need an invite code or approval after a very stringent background check. I guess this kind of defeats the purpose of being in a 'decentralized' network.
I then came across Unique.One which was introduced to me by a friend. Like any avid crypto enthusiasts and an artist, I asked more about the difference between unique.one compared to other platforms such as rarible, superrare, makerplace or opensea and here is what I got.

Benefits of Unique.One
- Artist get FULL PRICE from their work.
- Artist who mints their NFTs on Unique One will be rewarded with Rare Tokens(Currently already at 4.88usd at time of posting this).
- Buyers and Sellers will also be rewarded with Rare Tokens.

I think what surprised me the most when using this platform is that I do not need to pay a platform fee as a creator because I know some of these NFTs sites charge a 2.5% creators fee and on top of the high gas fees that Ethereum is costing, is something we should try to solve and not already adding the burden to artists.
I'm glad that the Unique One team (who has chosen to be remained anonymous) has decided to launch a xDAI marketplace for artist who wants to be able to mint their NFTs without costing an arm or a kidney.
From my personal experience with the overall user experience of the site & tokenomics, the team seems to be very experience in tokenomics and developing on the chain. In a few weeks time, they would be even launching a NFT site for photographers called Unique.photo. How cool is that?!
As an artist that only does art as a hobby on the side, I'm lucky to be even able to make any profit out of this and NFTs has helped me achieved that. Never in my wildest dream have I ever dreamt of anyone wanting to buy my voxelart.
There's more to Unique.One if you're thinking of diving into the NFT scene with them.
