Puzzle Contest #8 - First to get all the correct answers wins 5 SBD...

Hi Everyone,

Merry Christmas, Spectrum Economics is holding its eight solve the puzzles contest. This Christmas Puzzle Contest contains 5 puzzles instead of the usual 4. The first person to solve Puzzles 1 to 4 wins 5 SBD. The first person to solve Puzzle 5 (Christmas Bonus Puzzle) wins 2 SBD.

How to Enter

To enter requires 1 upvote. Each entrant into the contest is allowed 1 attempt at Puzzles 1 to 4 and 1 attempt at the Christmas Bonus Puzzle. The attempts needs to be made in the comments section of the post. Some questions have several parts to them, all parts of each question need to be answered correctly for a chance to win.

I expect the answers to be presented in following format for Puzzles 1 to 4:

Answer 1
Answer 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d
Answer 3
Answer 4

For the Christmas Bonus Puzzle, I expect the answer to be presented in the following format:

Christmas Bonus Puzzle = ?

The closing date and time for the contest is 6PM USA Eastern Time 29/12/2017. Responses after this time will not be accepted. The answers will be provided in the comments section after the contest closes. The explanations for the answers will be provided in a separate post a few days after the contest closes.

The winners of the contest will be announced in the comments section and 5 SBD will be paid to the winner for the first four puzzles and 2 SBD will be paid to the winner for the Christmas Bonus Puzzle. The payouts will be made once I receive the payout from the post. All attempts in the comments section will receive an upvote regardless of answers provided. That’s right, I am also rewarding participation. The value of the upvote will depend upon my voting power at the time. Good luck everybody and have a Merry Christmas.
