Hi Everyone,
Welcome to my FINAL Spectrum Economics Puzzle Contest. I abruptly stopped running my puzzle contests about a year ago. We made it all the way to 16 contests before the falling price and the popularity of the contests pressed me to stop. I really enjoyed running the puzzle contests but I would rather my contests more closely support my economics work. The puzzle contest series was good as it encouraged critical and analytical thinking which are important skills for an economist. I will be running more contests again once the price of Steem is higher and I have a larger active audience. I want to bring back my 6-week challenge series as well as the buying and selling game. As I am an Orca, I will be able to support better prizes.
I have not announced the prize money for this contest yet. Many of my puzzle contests have had 5 or 10 SBD prize money. This contest will be different as it is my last puzzle contest. Question 4 determines the prize money for this contest, which will be in Steem. The sum of all the answers for Question 4 is the prize money to be given away to the winner of this contest. Therefore, if you want to know the prize money before the end of the contest, you will need to solve Question 4.
This contest contains 12 questions instead of the usual 4 questions. The additional questions are a final treat for those who have enjoyed my puzzles in the past. To answer all 12 questions is going take a while; as many of them are quite complex and have several parts. Therefore, I recommend setting some time aside to complete them all.
How the winner will be determined
The contestant that gets the most answers correct wins. If there is a tie, the contestant who answered first will win. For a question to be considered correct, all parts of the question must be answered correctly.
