Conscious Music you have probably never heard of | #48 | Asura - 360

Warm and mellow, resonant and mind-expanding - Asura's music is truly one of a kind and a real hallmark of modern psychedelic downtempo music that sends the listener on a profound journey, asking us kindly to let go of the mind's tangles and to let the chips fall where they may.

Divine synth work, epic passages and a keen dose of tribalism coded in sonics, groove and vocals the album is breathtaking, really. Whether you wish to enter into deep states of contemplation, wish to undertake a psychedelic journey out in nature or are in need of some calm for the soul you should definitely give this record a try, uncovering things about yourself that don't often get your attention.

For its soothing quality and resonant emotionality Asura's music can be a mighty counterweight to the strong and edgy experiences on the mainfloor at psy festivals and periodically reminds us that we can not continue pressing forwards indefinitely without giving the mind a rest once in a while. It would also be a marvellous album to make love to or for sharing any other sorts of intimate moments with your loved ones. This music simply builds a field of understanding between people where nothing else needs to be added - clear communication comes naturally when things click with such a soundtrack in the air.

All of his albums shine in their own way but I guess we gotta start somewhere and I can never seem to shake this masterpiece of his that has aged amazingly well since its release at the beginning of this decade.

Despite its many various facets, hills and valleys, open spaces and contortions I can also promise you you will always be landed safely after your voyage - a characteristic vital to profound psybient soundtracks for life on Earth. Straight lines are more of a human invention and detours make for memorable journeys!

Come let's embark!
