Conscious Music you have probably never heard of | #77 | AstroPilot - Solar Walk

Here comes another marvellous chillout album of the highest calibre. AstroPilot's Solar Walk is pretty much what you would expect - a profound soundtrack for grandiose sci-fi imageries and a great opportunity to reconnect to the larger cosmos through finely-calibrated auditory stimuli.

To some people this may not even qualify as music really, because it's just so atmospheric and subtle. It paints a universe in sonic pads, it breathes and oscillates at the slowest rates, it morphs through ever-expanding sensations of gradual progressions while maintaining its relaxation-vibe all throughout the album even when later tracks do opt to introduce basic beats, kicks and basslines to move the track forward ever so slightly.

Most of the album however is insanely mellow and uncomplicated, delivering pristine spheres of sound with a mighty dose of empathy for the listeners. As such the album would be great for anything related to relaxation or meditation. It would also shine in situations where you would like to paint a very subtle ambience atmosphere without capturing too much obvious attention.

As such, it would be the best elevator album ever, it could also work really well for sitting with your family on the holidays if put on low volume in the background. If they notice at all people will ask you what has changed only after the album has finished playing, that's how subtle it is. Subtle but poerful!
