Poison Ivy Realizes Her Inner Demons

First of all, if Jenny Frison's Variant Cover artwork doesn't sell issues of Poison Ivy #10, then nothing will. This piece would make a great poster. I feel that it is stronger than G. Willow Wilson's story, however, it was interesting enough to keep me reading. I kind of compare it to that movie that you are not sure if you liked, but after watching it a few times, it grew on you.

It was a very introspective issue for Poison Ivy. Preparing to leave Seattle and head back to Gotham City, it is clear that she misses Harley Quinn. Janet eventually convinces Pam (Poison Ivy) to take a detour to California to check out a Wellness Retreat run by Gwendolyn Caltrope. Although our main character is environmentally conscious, Poison Ivy has her doubts about this retreat known as GL0P. We have now entered the world of outdoor Yoga classes, free tote bags made with recycled fibers and Adaptogenic Green Juice.

While roaming the grounds, Ivy thinks she sees Woodrue enter a barn. She knows that this man who made her is dead, but is he? However, her search ends up with nothing but an hallucinogenic experience that leads her to start making out with Janet. That is not the worst of it because the Laws of Nature begin to take control as the mutating Lamia inside Ivy's body begins to escape! Okay, so maybe the story isn't as bad as I first thought!
