The SD Association group of nearly 900 companies together prescribe the standard for SD memory card with a capacity of 256 TB with a rapid data transfer rate of 985 MB/s which is quiet faster than current storage transfer rate of 624 MB/s. The new standard integrates PCI Express and NVMe interfaces into SD memory cards to achieve the high transfer speeds and storage capacities.
