The Big Market of Chinese Spring Festival/ 春节赶集见闻
For each of Chinese, the Spring Festival is our most important festival. Before the Spring Festival, people who are far away from home will also have to go hometown for the Chinese New Year. But in recent years， everyone said that the New Year did not attract them. I often ask myself this question, why? Is it because a person has grown up and his heart has no hope? Or because of the improvement of living standards？？ There is no difference between normal day and the the Spring Festival .Mayb too many people are numb. However, why do people try them best to go home before Chinese New Year,although they think the Spring Festival is so boring? What is the meaning of New Year for contemporary Chinese?
对我们每一个中国人而言，春节曾经是我们最重要的节日。春节之前，离家再远的人也要回家过年。但是不知道从什么时候起，大家都在说过年没什么年味了。我也时常在问自己这个问题，这是为什么呢？是不是人长大了，心中的期盼没有了；或者是因为生活水平提高了，过不过年和平时没什么两样了；还是过年过次数太多，人都麻木了。但是，即便这样，为什么每到过年人们历经艰难还是要回家？对于当代的我们来说什么是过年的意义？
However, these few days I accompanied my mother to purchase New Year's goods and found that many traditional cultures have recovered. The original rarely seen noodles, paper-cut, now appear in the big market. I took a few photos.
不过，这几天在陪着我母亲采购年货，发现很多传统文化都复苏了。原先很少见到的捏面人，剪纸，现在都出现在大集里了。顺手拍了几张照片
The dough figurine is a mixture of flour, glutinous rice flour, and various colors pinched into various figurines of people and animals. In the past, the dough figurine masters often carried a small box and walked around Hutong.If he met somebody who wanted to buy dough figurine, he would stop and make some on the spot. In no time, he would be surrounded by children watching him pinching. It was indeed a visual enjoyment. He pinched the colorful dough and attached it to a small stick and by techniques of rubbing, pinching, and pressing, the rough shape of a figurine then came into being. Then the master would refine it through tools of a knife, thread, and toothpick.A nice dough figurine was well done.
捏面人是用面粉、糯米粉为主要原料,再加上色彩,石蜡、蜂蜜等成分,经过防裂防霉的处理,制成柔软的各色面团。类似于玩偶一样的东西。现在的面人也与时俱进了，已经不局限于关公或者孙悟空形象了，还有海绵宝宝，小黄人，小猪佩奇（捂脸）
Paper cutting is a traditional art in China which has been making its way along the route of the long history of paper.The kind of art went after the invention of paper in Han Dynasty,once became one of the main form of arts,and was popular to the people of the time; even in royal families ladies were also judged by the ability at papercut.
剪纸也是中国传统。这是中国的一种古老的艺术，有着很长的历史，汉代发明纸张之后，一度成为主要的艺术形式之一，在中国几千年的历史中一直被重视。我们一般把剪纸贴在家门口，祈求来年生活顺利。
But now the paper-cutting process is also advancing with the times, not only cut the traditional Chinese image, but also cut the giant panda and Husky

I hope every Chinese can return home during the Spring Festival and spend seven days off with their families. Even if we feel more and more boring on the Spring Festival, the link between us and our family will never be weak.
希望每一个中国人都能在春节回到家里，和家人度过七天假期。哪怕我们对春节的感情越来越淡，我们和家人的羁绊永远也不会淡薄。
