Mountain clean up and melting glacier

Hi all and greetings from the Swiss Alps 🏔
We did an awesome hike today. The view was just fantastic and we passed many beautiful alpine lakes

Also there was not much trash to pick up what is great, but every piece is too much.

We had a great view to the Rhone Glacier, but look how much it already melted away, that‘s just awful. You can see in the picture how big it was...climate change in Switzerland

There‘s many things you can do to reduce your carbon dioxide footprint. Beneath flying less and eat less meat you can also reduce your plastic consumption. Plastic is made from oil and it‘s production sets free carbon dioxide. And if plastic starts to fall into tiny pieces under the influence of UV light, it emits methane which is even a stronger climate gas.

We can all do our part and try to live more sustainable. Let me know what you already changed in your life ☺️🙏🏻
