"Harmonia" by Arnold Schoenberg is one of those indispensable publications for anyone who is passionate about the subject and music.
Published by the publisher Unesp in Brazil, with translation, preface and notes by Marden Maluf, the book is a luminous result of an environment of eruption of notable clarifications in several fields of knowledge.
In the period of its first Viennese edition of the definitive text in 1922, that fertile environment was giving us Gustav Kilmt's symbolist painting, Wittgenstein's philosophy, Sigmund Freud's psychoanalysis, and the crossroads of European thought at the end of the century. No período de sua primeira edição vienense do texto definitivo em 1922, aquele ambiente fécundo estava nos dando de presente a pintura simbolista de Gustav Kilmt, a filosofia de Wittgenstein, a psicanalise de Sigmund Freud, e a encruzilhada do pensamento europeu do final do séc.
