The plot is moving, and tells a story based on real events by Harriet Tubman (Cynthia Erivo). In the year 1849, Harriet helped hundreds of slaves to flee the southern United States, shortly after also managing to escape slavery.

Review:

Harriet's story has passionate speeches and her narrative uses emotion to reach the viewer, following a formula without daring. However, in the context, the theme of slavery continues to be addressed, with shocking scenes that remind us of how cruel the human being can be, and the people were treated as mere commodities.

In the context of Harriet's story, as a protagonist he shows her leadership and determination in helping a group to break free. And when she passes the feature film, she begins to have visions and says she is sent by God.

The plot shows the symbol of resistance and heroism of American abolitionist history, as it is a historical thematic it is possible to know the life of a slave like Harriet who became an abolitionist activist and led hundreds of people to freedom and this in the film shows how enriching it is.
