Režiséři Rodrigues a Tarantino v jednom filmu?

The film Four Rooms was one of the first films I saw at the cinema, so to speak, alone. Until then, I was not so interested in cinema and films, mainly due to the "renting" of videotapes. But after I saw a Tarantino movie - Pulp Fiction on videotape (Czech people knows...), I had to jump to the cinema on this one. Directors Rodrigues and Tarantino in one film?

In the finale, it's probably mainly the last two stories from two rooms from the above mentioned directors, but without the other two stories, the film would probably not be so good. These first two stories are, I would say, average. Tim Roth, in the main role of a messenger in a hotel, is very mowy in them and almost nothing happens in them, especially in a work with some scantily clad ladies with Madonna in it ... I almost forgot these two stories. Even when I watched for it before visiting the cinema, I researched what the film would be about, I formed my opinion on them, so I did not expect any miracles and took them as such a necessary introduction before the real thing comes. Action whirlwind with a smooth Banderas and an announced conclusion with a tidy Tarantino. As Quentin's fan, I really enjoyed the last bit, maybe just like him. A ton of allusions, already a lot of improvised monologues (sorry monologues) in one shot and flawless choreography. For me, the scene with a finger at the end is one of the best pieces of film cinema. I don't even know why ;-).

(official text of the distributor):
The short story film FOUR ROOMS is the work of four directors who have recently become the most famous representatives of American independent cinema. The filmmakers shot four episodic stories, set on New Year's Eve in the rooms of a Los Angeles hotel. Ted (Tim Roth), a new hotel servant, is involved in every story (even the room). With fateful uncompromisingness, the young man becomes an important actor in various strange to bizarre events. Each of the directors wrote the script for his episode and, of course, applied his poetics during the realization. The result is a highly eclectic spectacle, in which different styles and genres alternate without much additional effect. Robert Rodriguez's anecdote is especially characteristic of the filmmaker's outlook and imaginativeness. Due to the unclear and unexplained concept from the beginning, the film will not be artistically saved by a number of well-known and famous actors.
