Hace alguno años, muchos en realidad, transmitían una serie en un canal de televisión de mi país, Venezuela, donde me encontraba trabajando. La serie se llamaba "Amo la vida, voy al cine", como su nombre lo indica se trataba del mundo cinematográfico. No hay mucho más qué decir sobre la serie, pero el nombre me fascinaba, parecían dos frases imposibles de conjugar, de decir en una misma oración, pero el que ama al cine como yo, sabe lo real y poderosa que es, porque amar el cine es amar la vida.
Some years ago, many actually, they broadcast a series on a television channel in my country, Venezuela, where I was working. The series was called "I love life, I go to the movies", as its name indicates it was about the cinematographic world. There is not much more to say about the series, but the name fascinated me, they seemed two phrases impossible to conjugate, to say in the same sentence, but whoever loves cinema like I do, knows how real and powerful it is, because loving the cinema is loving life.
El cine lo cura todo, siempre encontrarás un género para tu humor o sentimientos. Sé que estando completamente enamorado viste varias comedias románticas y sentías que en todas hablaban de ti. Cuántas noches no te sentiste temerario y viste una de terror, para terminar durmiendo con la luz encendida o recuerdas esa tarde cuando estabas triste y una comedia te sacó muchas risas.
Cinema cures everything, you will always find a genre for your humor or feelings. I know that being completely in love you saw several romantic comedies and you felt that they were all talking about you. How many nights did you not feel reckless and saw a horror one, to end up sleeping with the light on or do you remember that afternoon when you were sad and a comedy made you laugh a lot.
Todo esto que te cuento lo sentía desde pequeña, empecé estudiando fotografía a los 12 años, hice decenas de cursos, diplomados y capacitaciones profesionales, es algo que también disfruto mucho y es el trabajo que realizo como freelancer. Cuando tuve que elegir carrera en la universidad fue muy fácil decidirme por Artes mención Cine. Siempre quise hacer películas y durante mis estudios me di cuenta que me gustaba mucho el análisis cinematográfico, e hice un posgrado de Análisis y Crítica Cinematográfica en Argentina, así que me muevo entre la producción y la escritura.
All this that I tell you I felt since I was little, I started studying photography at the age of 12, I did dozens of courses, diplomas and professional training, it is something that I also enjoy a lot and it is the work I do as a freelancer. When I had to choose a career in the university, it was very easy to decide on Arts, mention Cinema. I always wanted to make films and during my studies I realized that I really liked film analysis, and I did a postgraduate degree in Film Analysis and Criticism in Argentina, so I move between production and writing.
En general disfruto todas las manifestaciones artisticas: arquitectura, escultura, pintura, danza, música y literatura; además del teatro, el vestuario, las artesanías y manualidades y hasta videojuegos, así que posiblemente leerás también un poco de eso por acá.
